We work out where AI pays in your business, then build it.

How we work

Choosing the job is most of the work.

Building is the shorter part. Knowing where it pays is what takes the time.

Owners get pitched. They rarely get shown.

Most owners hear about AI every week. Few see where it would earn its keep in their own firm. That's our opening question.

We follow the work, not the org chart.

We trace how work actually moves. Who asks for what. Where it sits. Who chases it.

We pick a few chains and walk them end to end. An enquiry to a client. An order to a paid invoice. An offer letter to a first day.

Each chain stalls somewhere. Usually a person is reading, sorting or chasing by hand. That's our first stop.

We look at the owner too. Promises, decisions and relationships live in your head. In a heavy week, some slip. That's often the best place to begin.

Every department has a few.

  • Sales: slow first replies, and quotes waiting on one person.
  • Finance: invoices nobody matched, and late payers nobody chased.
  • Operations: mail that buries the urgent note, and suppliers who go quiet.
  • HR: starters with no login, and licenses near expiry.
  • Customer service: papers clients forget, and order questions.
  • Marketing: monthly numbers built by hand, and a newsletter nobody starts.

Where it does well

Work that is heavy on reading and shaped by rules. For instance:

  • reading a stack of mail and pulling out the few that need a person;
  • spotting a promise in a sent message and noting its date;
  • comparing what arrived with what was ordered;
  • drafting a first chase note for someone to approve;
  • noticing when a pattern breaks, and saying “worth a look”.

A good assistant could do each one, given enough hours. The hours are what's missing. That's where it pays.

Where it doesn't

  • decisions that need judgment you'd never hand over;
  • processes that already run well;
  • gaps that are really a missing rule or a missing hire;
  • volumes too small to justify building for;
  • records too messy to read reliably yet.

We'll tell you when AI is the wrong answer. The fix might be a checklist, a named owner or a tool you already pay for. We'd rather say that than build what you don't need.

It stays in its lane.

What we build reads, drafts and warns. A person approves before any message leaves. When it might be wrong, it says “worth a look”, never “this is true”. It never acts in your name.

The first conversation

It's with one of our co-founders. It's free, and it takes about an hour.

  • No access. We won't ask to see your systems or your mail.
  • No homework. Come as you are, and send nothing in advance.
  • Your whole list. One problem brought you here. Bring the others.
  • Questions about your week. Where work waits, who chases, what lands late.
  • Names, not a pitch. You leave with the problems worth solving named, and the ones that aren't.

If nothing on your list is worth building, we'll say so. If something is, the next step is yours.

Where it leaves you

You use AI where it counts and ignore the rest. Your people spend their week on the work that needs them.
